Marc's portrait

Marc is a Swiss lighting designer working across theatre, opera, musicals, live music, and large-scale international events. He has a particular interest in site-specific projects.

His recent work includes Max Richter's SLEEP at Alexandra Palace, HAMNET at Southwark Cathedral, and the 2024-2026 World Tour, alongside major musical productions such as The Greatest Showman: The Spectacular Concert. His opera credits include Carmen and La Bohème. Since 2017, he has collaborated on each edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival.

In parallel with his independent design work, Marc is regularly invited to join major international productions as an associate and programmer working for other lead designers. In 2026, he served as Cauldron Associate Lighting Designer and Programmer for the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Milan, working with Bruno Poet. He has also worked with other leading designers including Es Devlin, Matt Daw, Hugh Vanstone, and James Farncombe on productions for the National Theatre, the West End, international tours, and global cultural events, including Miss Saigon, Alicia Keys, Lorde, Self Esteem, and Paris Fashion Week for Alexander McQueen.
